Over 300 community members volunteer more than 16,000 hours each year, and more than 2,500 people are impacted. Community theatre enriches the lives of those who take an active part in it, as well as those in the community who benefit from live theatre productions. On either side of the footlights, those involved represent a diversity of age, culture, life experience, and a strong appreciation of the importance of the arts. Theatre provides invaluable life experiences, basic and interpersonal skills such as confidence, self-esteem, poise, responsibility, collaboration, leadership and compassion along with problem solving, reasoning and creative thinking.
To help support our vibrant community through the many benefits of the performing arts, we are seeking corporate and personal sponsorships. Live theatrical events require a budget for items like costumes, the “rights” to perform the show, building supplies for making the sets, stage rental and more.
